From October 24, discover an exceptional retrospective of Paul Signac (1863–1935), a master of Neo-Impressionism, at the Kunsthal. In the late 19th century, inspired by the work of Georges Seurat, Signac developed Pointillism, a painting technique in which dots and brushstrokes come together to create a rhythmic symphony of colours. The exhibition offers a comprehensive overview of Signac’s work on a scale rarely seen in the Netherlands. “Symphony of Colours” also reveals how his influence shaped the paintings of his contemporaries.
